can’t stress this enough.  the other day i bought something at a store for $8.35 and paid for it with $10.  then, the lady at the register started to give me back change for $20 and i told her i only gave her $10.  my friend standing next to me said, “you’re really honest.”  and i said “well, yeah.”  

how sad is the world when being honest is surprising?
